Anyone who knows me knows I live and breathe GIVIT. I work day in, day out to champion our brand. I tell anyone who will listen the importance of what we do and why we exist – we alleviate poverty nationally by providing a free donation platform to all registered Australian charities. I work 365 days a year and attend up to four meetings every single day just to get people to listen, to get support… to ensure GIVIT exists. But still, I need your help.
As I write this, I know I am lucky. I am grateful. GIVIT has tens of thousands of generous donors and every single time an item is donated or money given my heart skips a beat. Someone’s life is about to change from that donation.
I love how much others love giving as much as I do. Through GIVIT, you know your item is going directly to assist someone in need. If you donate money, you can ensure 100% is used to purchase essential items from local businesses. I am proud of this. I’m proud to be a charity where 100% of donations go directly to people in need.
But it’s a double-edged sword.
Because you see – if 100% of donations are going to recipients – GIVIT needs alternate funding to run our website, keep it innovative and updated, to pay for printing, photocopying, paper, stationary and postage.
As we approach the end of the financial year, we’re asking for financial assistance. We’d like you to help us raise $4,000 to cover core expenses for one whole year – printing, photocopying, stationary, paper and postage. Donating before June 30 ensures a fully tax deductible donation.
